I met up with Jamilla and Marwan at the Jefferson Memorial early Easter Sunday morning. It was an absolutely glorious day. Warm sunshine and summer like weather. The rest of the world was clued in to this fact as well and there were lots and lots of people out at 7:30 in the morning to view the Cherry Blossoms. We navigated through muddy grass and tour bus crowds to try to capture the personalities of Jamilla and Marwan along with the the feel of Washington DC, the Cherry Blossoms and the spring like weather. It was quite a challenge to keep other folks out of the background but thanks to the patience and good natured spirits of this couple we pulled it off. I’m looking forward to being their wedding photographer in May.

Love the use of light and the colors of the cherry blossoms truly accent this couple. I am sure your clients loved the images, great job!

I just love those shots with the cherry blossoms…great time of year to be outside shooting.
