Arlington Pin Up Portrait Session with Belly Dancer Shahrzrad

I had a really fun departure from my normal wedding photography and engagement sessions recently.  I did a portrait session for Shahrzrad, a professional belly dancer in the Washington DC Metro area.  She performs in Northern, Virgina, DC, Baltimore and points north and also teaches classes.  In addition, she’s a huge fan of the old Pin-Up style portraits.  Here are a few of my favorites:

I love the 3rd shot. The way you have the backlighting almost fading out behind the headress is excellent!
