We’re getting close! I’m seeing buds on some trees. And the weather is shaping up to be beautiful. Below is another cherry blossom engagement session photographed at the Tidal Basin in Washington DC. I met up with Tracy and Matt early in the morning after postponing due to a few days of cold drizzly rain. On this day, the weather started to break and we had some dramatic skies. Not too many other photographers were out due to the weather. The engagement session was part of Matt and Tracy’s wedding photography package. They were married a short time later in Northern Virginia. I was of course honored to have been chosen as their photographer.

Really love the cherry blossoms! I was out there for a few months in 2008 and loved it all. Cute couple! Love the leading lines in the photos! Great work!

Love the pictures with the cherry blossoms. We never seem to have a good week in Nashville for the cherry trees here. Maybe I will get lucky this year, it would make for some great pics!
